Celeste Starweave

The Youngest - The Wildcard

Age: 19

“Everyone talks about Blastran like he’s the cautionary tale. I think he’s the only one brave enough to write his own story. Why is that a bad thing?”

Celeste looks most like Vivienne - auburn hair, violet-grey eyes, the Thornwell features coming through strongly. But where her mother has learned perfect control and elegance, Celeste still has that young adult energy, raw and unrefined. Her hair frequently escapes whatever elaborate style it’s been arranged in, she “forgets” elements of proper dress, and she has Blastran’s mischievous glint in her eyes.

She’s still in magical training but showing strong potential, with natural affinity for transformation magic and illusion. She inherited some Thornwell divination sensitivity from her mother. Her approach is more creative and experimental than traditional, which worries the family almost as much as her increasingly rebellious behavior.

Celeste watched Blastran leave and secretly admires him for it. She’s chafing under the same expectations that drove him away, testing boundaries more frequently. Started small - “forgetting” etiquette, befriending unsuitable people - but recently has escalated to skipping formal lessons and sneaking out. She’s smarter than she lets on, playing the “silly youngest daughter” role strategically while she figures out what she actually wants.

The Pattern Repeating

The family is starting to worry this isn’t just youthful spirits but a genuine pattern. Vivienne may have seen echoes of Blastran’s path in Celeste’s future, which terrifies her - one rebellious child is a phase, two suggests something wrong with the system itself. Cornelius is terrified of losing another child. Aldric hasn’t noticed yet because she’s beneath his attention. Marcus tries to mentor her but she resists. Isadora watches carefully, protective but uncertain how to help.

On Blastran

She idolizes him from a distance despite barely knowing him - they have a six-year age gap. She wants to contact him but hasn’t figured out how. Yet. This could become a significant plot point for future story developments. She might follow in his footsteps, though perhaps more dramatically.
