Isadora Starweave

The Dutiful Daughter

Age: 26

“You left to find yourself. I stayed and carved out exactly what I wanted. Neither of us is wrong, Blastran. We just chose different prisons - mine has better wine and I hold the keys.”

Isadora radiates sophisticated competence. Her dark hair and violet-grey eyes combine her parents’ features into graceful, refined beauty. She’s always impeccably dressed in the latest court fashion, with jewelry and accessories chosen for both magical and social significance. Everything about her presentation is deliberate and effective.

She inherited her mother’s divination sensitivity combined with formal magical training, specializing in enchantment and charm magic. More importantly, she’s excellent at magical contract work and artifact authentication - practical skills she’s turned into real power. As manager of the Starweave Library access system, Isadora handles contracts with visiting scholars and wizards, oversees authentication of rare texts and acquisitions, and essentially runs a profitable business while making it look effortless.

The remarkable thing about Isadora is that she’s genuinely content. She’s not resentful about the limitations placed on her as a daughter rather than a son. She found her place within the system and made it work for her, understanding the game and playing it well. She’s built her own power base through the library network, cultivated valuable connections, and secured her position. When people underestimate her because she’s a woman, she uses that to her advantage.

On Blastran

Fond older sister energy mixed with pragmatic amusement. She sees his rebellion as predictable given his personality and doesn’t judge him for it - she made her choice, he made his. If she can figure out where he is, she occasionally sends care packages. She’d help him if he needed it but won’t chase him.

“At least one of us gets to have adventures. Bring me back stories.”

Recent Betrothal

Recently engaged to a Thornwell cousin, strengthening the Starweave-Thornwell alliance further. The marriage is strategic but she’s genuinely compatible with her betrothed. The wedding is being planned for next season, and she’s approaching it as both a social triumph and a business merger.
