Description
The Courtyard provides an open-air space at the center of the Eldritch College complex, surrounded by the various buildings that make up the institution. Paved paths cross the area, connecting different parts of the college, while areas of grass and carefully tended gardens provide spots for rest and contemplation.
Students gather here between classes, sitting on benches or the low walls that border garden beds. Some study outdoors when the weather permits, spreading books across the grass. Others practice magic in designated areas, their spells carefully monitored to prevent accidents. The outdoor setting allows for certain types of magic that would be problematic indoors.
