Description
Named for Faben the Worthy, Fabenward is Godmere’s beating economic heart. The district sprawls along the waterfront, filled with the constant activity of trade and commerce. The sound of sailors calling out, merchants haggling, and cargo being loaded and unloaded creates a perpetual din.
The Docks form the centerpiece of the district, where ships from across the realm bring goods to market and depart laden with Godmere’s exports. Warehouses line the streets near the water, guarded carefully against theft. The smell of salt air mixes with fish, tar, and the varied scents of exotic imports.
Merchant houses and trading companies maintain offices here, while sailors and dock workers frequent the local establishments during their hours off. Fabenward never truly sleeps - at any hour, someone is working the docks, moving cargo, or conducting business.
