Description

The Sanctum is the most sacred chamber within the Royal Cathedral, accessible only to high clergy and those granted special permission. This inner sanctum serves as a repository for the cathedral’s holiest relics and most powerful religious artifacts.

The room is small but richly appointed, with walls covered in religious iconography and scripture. Candles burn perpetually, and the air carries the scent of incense. Light filters through a single small stained glass window, casting colored patterns across the stone floor.

Only the most faithful are permitted to enter this holy space, and even then only for the most solemn purposes - prayers for divine guidance, consultation of sacred artifacts, or ceremonies of the highest importance.

Use of the Chalice is carefully controlled by the high clergy, who determine when and for whom such divine knowledge is appropriate.
