Description
This place is a dive filled with humanity’s leavings and those cruel enough to dice with them and to take their money. There are a few rooms for rent, but you would have better luck avoiding theft camping alongside the road.
The tavern occupies a weathered building in the heart of Cynders, its sign depicting a horned devil and a penitent sinner sharing drinks. Inside, the air is thick with smoke, cheap alcohol, and desperation. The clientele consists of thieves, gamblers, smugglers, and those who have fallen on hard times or simply given up on honest work.
Games of chance run constantly, usually rigged in favor of the house or skilled cheats. Fights break out regularly, and the proprietor maintains a strict policy of throwing combatants into the street rather than trying to stop the violence. Those foolish enough to flash wealth here rarely keep it for long.
