• Assist in high court
• Sew rumors
• manipulate politics
• spy

When you turn 18 you become a reaper or siren.

Patron

The Society’s pact is sworn to Mammon, fiend of greed. Each new initiate is presented to him in person at The Fold, and each new generation of the founding families is bound into a multi-generational debt in exchange for the gifts that make a Reaper or a Siren.

Confirmed in Session 13 when the demon manifested in The Sanctum for Danton LeBeau’s ceremony — and the deception of Blastran Starweave standing in Danton LeBeau’s place was exposed.

The Sanctum

The Fold is performed in The Sanctum, a converted Gothic bone-church beneath Godmere. The only known entrance is concealed inside a grandfather clock in Lord Javier LeBeau’s study, accessed by setting the clock hands to a poppy-coded sequence read off the family portraits. Known Operations Against the Party

• Session 13 — A Siren (killed by Zog Ironheart), two Reapers (dropped by Shatter), Neil the magnificent (set alight by Blastran Starweave and exposed), and Lord Javier LeBeau himself were all present in The Sanctum when the party broke in. Javier struck a bargain with Mammon to spare the intruders in exchange for Benny LeBeau by dawn. The party fled into an unlit passage out of the cloak-room, leaving Zog Ironheart alive and fighting Mammon.
