Down time in aldors
Blastran Starweave learns the message cantrip after spending some time with aldor and passing arcana checks.
Knock on the door from Strix
He explains that he couldn’t bring the dragon here as both mihelu and the dragon are tied up. Gek kept saying they would be food for the garden. He shows the dragon scale and says he needs help. They were getting ready for some sort of ritual.
Then there is big swirling red sky in distance
Travel to Gorrmoth’s Tower
The party take the cart to Gorrmoth’s Tower quickly passing through Dawnvale where Godfrey the mad man was screaming in the street in excitement to the red swirling clouds in the sky. Blastran Starweave sent him a message into his mind saying "". And Benny LeBeau used some fire effect to intimidate Godfrey the mad man to stand clear of the cart
Arriving at Gorrmoth’s Tower
Skrix the Blue Kobold led the players towards the tower. There were two entrances, a chasm or some caves. They went to the caves at the back and saw Mihilu tied to a post
Meeting Mihilu
The party convinced Skrix the Blue Kobold to go up and hit Mihilu with a stick, then untie him and bring him into the bushes. Skrix being an idiot messed this up. Revealing that he was there with the party.
Mihilu told the party the Skrix the Blue Kobold was stupid and that he had gone rogue with this plan to take a dragon to the pub. Mihilu explained that he used to be the leader of the group and that their job was to raise Kevin the White Dragon into adulthood as that was their mission as Kolbolds. Then once they had an adult dragon on their side they could do what they wanted and nobody would mess with them.
Mihilu said that Gek the Necromancer had found the The Book of Necromancy and used this to learn magic and become the new leader.
He told them the dragon was chained up and would eat the party on sight.
He told them the the green kobold Nork would be on their side.
He told the party to use the chasm to enter.
The party untie him
Down the Chasm
The Stumblers, Skrix the Blue Kobold and Mihilu all descend into the chasm. They are attacked by some kobolds
The part then head into the next section of the caves. Blastran cast create bonfire which reveals a crack in the wall of the cave to a hidden passage.
They follow the passage which leads out into an armoury
Strom picked up the +2 longsword
They then decide to go out of the door into the ritual room in the basement
The ritual
There is a dead ogre with a lily implanted in its chest. Kobolds surround him chanting and the leader Gek holds up a amulet of a birds skull. Red lights are flashing around the room as the ritual continues
Bronn starts with throwing the lightning javelin.
When Barnaby enters the room the rubies on the inside of his shell illuminate
The party enter one by one each time the rubies in their pocket lighting up
Blastran Starweave notices that this ritual is all wrong, reclessly slapped together of many component parts. he decides to try and stop this by magic missleing the birds skull. It shatters, down grading the magical potential of the ritual.
Barnaby casts the necromancers spell which bolt
Benny LeBeau casts fire spells showing he is an Everflame.
The party kill the kobolds but when they step in to the centre of the ritual they shift the ritual from a reanimate the dead to a summoning from the abyss. The rubies in their pocket changing the course of the ritual.
A hole in the ground opens up and a devil crawls out. A purple bearded devil.
Strom marks the devil and they go head to head in battle. They manage to defeat it closing the portal to the abyss.
The Stumblers recover The Butchered Words of Kyoss
